Hello friends! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving and weekend. Did you get some shopping done too? I got the Christmas decorations up at my house and had a little time to craft today.
I need to add to my Christmas Cards stash and I'm having fun lining up some new sets to use for them. I love this set from PTI called Spruce & Sprigs featuring lovely and large holly, berries and greens to arrange.
Of course the matching dies make it easy! Here's an organization tip for you.
I store my stamps using an envelope system, with the stamps in front and the dies in the back of each envelope. My faves for the month are kept in a box on my desk.
To help me keep track of the dies, I make a photocopy of them before I take them apart. Here's the paper copy.
On the paper, I write the number in pencil. On the actual die, I write the number on the piece with a Sharpie.
These are the actual dies. That way, if one goes missing or one "turns up" I can be sure to identify where it goes. To keep from losing any, I pull out this tiny dish to place on my desk to hold the dies I've used until they all get counted and put away.
Maybe this seems like overkill to you, but if you've ever lost one like I have, this tip may be of help.
My card was inspired by the sketch at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I love the sketches and the samples they have every week.
Thanks for coming by my blog to visit today!
Tomorrow I will tell you what made today such a special day at our house. Hugs~
