Making so many cards last week helped me feel more in the creating mood, so here I am with another post for today. Making cards helps keep my mojo going. Spending too much time just LOOKING online at other people's cards is a dead end for my creativity. Creating something daily, even for just a little while makes the process of figuring what to make go faster. Is anyone else out there like that?
I decided to do a little watercoloring and make a background. I loved the colors so much that I continued to add colors to the watercolor paper and die cut it for the flowers.
In real life it looks much more sharp and vivid than the photo shows. I scribbled yellow and lime green for the background using my Kuretake watercolors and then dabbed yellow, pink and red for the flowers.
Loving these colors from the Color Throwdown!
That's it for me today! I appreciate your visit so much.

I just love the colors you used on this! These swirly flowers are really "on trend" - lots of companies have similar ones! I love your card! :-)

I totally agree with "creating daily". I recently went back in the work world and haven't quite adjusted to fitting the rest of my life in - so I only craft on weekends. I am more blocked right now than I've ever been! Your card is truly lovely. The watercolored backgrounds give the flowers wonderful dimensino.
