The Curvy Keepsake Box from Stamping' Up! has been around for awhile. So WHY did I wait so long to order it? Maybe you can tell me, because I surely don't know. This box is adorable!! And so easy to make.
The Something Lacy Background stamp is also new to me, I inked it up and stamped it twice to cover the card stock before I die cut the pieces.
Have you ever tried to stamp TWO of a background stamp side by side, with a perfect match-up and NO seam showing? Well, I would never think of even trying it, but I have a new tool that has made it possible.
It's called MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented and I highly recommend it! It's for positioning your stamps for perfect lineup and you can learn all about it on the inventor's blog My Sweet Petunia. There are multiple uses I've found for the MISTI and I'm thrilled with the results!
Just a note about my tag. The larger butterfly is stamped with the butterfly image from the Butterfly Basics set.I just wanted the pattern, not the shape. Then I used the Butterfly punch to cut it out.
