Welcome to the second Artisan Wednesday Wow Blog Hop! We hope that you're as excited seeing our projects as we are sharing them with you! If you arrived from Amy's blog, you are in the right place.
I was excited to recieve the Curio Collage stamp set and try my hand at using those cute Soda Pop Tops. Rather than using a cute style, I was inspired in the direction of vintage by the Fan Fair Designer Series Papers for my card. I love the muted colors of the papers and I think they work really well with the images.
Instead of stamping designs to put inside the bottle tops, I turned them over and glued papers and the stamped images on top. I wanted to cover them with a heavy layer of Crstal Effects but first I tried a tip I learned to set the color so it doesn't blurr. You just pat the Versamark pad directly over the stamped image, then put the Crystal Effects on top. I like the way they look and even used Mono Multi glue to layer one small cap onto the larger one.
Actually, the only stamping is on the bottle top. The sentiment was cut from the designer paper. How easy is that? My supplies are listed below.
I hope you feel inspired by my project! I know Erica's creation will WOW you and I thank you for following our hop today. See you next week!
